Title: A student of Living Things by Susan Richards Shreve

Claire begins studying biology and wants to be a biologist. Shes meet's a man named victor who know her brother very well. Victor tells Claire that he has some clues but Claire doesn't trust strangers very well. At this point of the book, Claire is trying to recoup her family together so that she can still study biology and solve the mystery on her dead brother.

So far, I enjoy the story but it isn't moving at a fast pace. Hopefully, the final pages finishes the ending smoothly.

Still planning to read this over break, the introduction is fulfilling. The story takes place right after the shooting incident, where Claire has just found her brother dead. Then as smart as she is,, she is forced to move elsewhere eliminating her chance to get some clues.

Overall, I don't know what will happed next but I predict that Claire will eventually solve the case, meaning either she will have to convince her parents to stay or she will have to run away.

I have yet to decide if this is the book i'm going to read, but it sounds very interesting.

Post 9/11, the Frayn Family, Claire Frayn, majoring in biology, is digging for her umbrella and her brother, while is with her, is shot to death. The family is in shock and they do whatever they can to find out about this tragedy. Claire dismisses from school to find out who did this to her brother. The story isn't about revenge, but more about love and the family tries to be happy after finding out that this nightmare has come true.

Opposing View: Assisted Suicide should be used because if a patient has suffering so painfully and it couldn't be cured, this would be the best option, to kill the patient by using drugs. They will feel no pain and life in a good way.

Assisted Suicide

The topic I've chosen for my reasearch project is Assisted Suicide.

Problem:
It is a problem which people shouldn't feel pressured in doing because humans should live as long as we can. The way it can end a person's life painfully should be reconsidered especially the way that it does death rather then save a person's life. When to doctor convinces the person to suicide, it shouldn't be chosen quickly and it should take the time to think for death.

A Civil Action

Being based on a true story, A Civil Action is a film teching many lessons in the business of working in a firm. The film shows a small law firm trying to win cases where the cases never go to the verdict. Most cases would end with a settlement. Where the main case shows a community blaming a company for polluting water in the lake, the case shows how Jan Sclichtman (John Travolta) cares more about the money and not about the families in general. After losing the case, Jan changes throughout the movie. He feels frustrated and left without answers. Feeling as he is, he wants to prove himself that he can still win and by the end of the movie, he knows what to do right.
